What Are SSC CHSL and SSC CGL 2022 Exams?

The SSC CHSL exams are administered to recruit deserving candidates for the positions like Sorting Assistant, Junior Secretariat Assistant, and many other relevant positions every year. Candidates must be familiar with all details related to the SSC CHSL Exams.

How To Prepare For SSC CHSL?

In order to land their desired jobs, candidates must pass the Staff Selection Commission’s combined higher secondary level examinations in three rounds. The three tiers of SSC CHSL exams are digitally administered assessment, Descriptive paper, and last, is Skill Assessment. Every small step is important in any preparation journey such as the exam syllabus, question pattern, eligibility criteria, and so on. Furthermore, details about the SSC CGL 2022 will also be provided.

The eligibility criteria contain three elements like nationality, educational qualification, and age limits. In Nationality criteria, candidates must be the citizen of India, Bhutan, Nepal, or candidates from Tibet Refugee who migrated to India Before 1962. Under educational qualification, candidates must hold an intermediate or graduate degree from a recognised university. Candidates must meet the age of a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 28 years old to be eligible for the SSC CHSL examination. Additionally, candidates must have intermediate-level and come from a science field with mathematics.

The SSC CHSL syllabus consists of three tiers. Tier 1 includes four topics like General Intelligence( Cloze Passage, Comprehension, Spelling Error, Synonyms, Antonyms,  Para Jumble, Direct and Indirect Narration, Phrases, Idioms), Maths( Averages, Square Roots, Percentage, Algebra, Graphs, Discount), General Awareness( Indian History, Politics, Geography, Current Affairs, General Science). Your English language proficiency will be examined in Tier 2 on topics like applications, essays, and letters. Your computer (typing speed) skills will be evaluated in Tier 3.

What Are The SSC CGL 2022 Exams?

The SSC CGL Exams is a nationwide competitive examination to recruit graduated candidates for the Group B and Group C Government Departments. The commission is now prepared to hold the Tier 2 & Tier 3 exams after being successfully administered the Tier 1 examination. Annually, forty lakh eligible applicants submit applications, and twenty lakh hopefuls take the CGL examination. The final candidates who reached the shortlist and were chosen are given the chance to work for the ministry and other Indian government agencies.

The selection process heavily depends on the eligibility requirements. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and at most 32 years old in order to appear for the SSC CGL exams. Candidates must meet the nationality requirements of Bhutan, Nepal, India, or Tibet Refugees who immigrated to India prior to 1962. Candidates must be graduate degree holders from an accredited institution. 

Physical requirements for applicants include height (157.5 cm for men and 152 cm for women), the ability to walk 1600 metres in five minutes for men and one kilometre in twenty minutes for women, and the ability to cycle eight kilometres in thirty minutes for men and three kilometres in twenty-five minutes for women.

Those who intend to take the SSC Combined Graduate Level examination must be completely familiar with the SSC CGL syllabus in order to succeed. In Tier 1, questions on Reasoning, General Awareness,  Quantitative Aptitude, and English are asked. In Tier 2, questions are asked on Quantitative Ability, Statistics, General Studies, and with English and Quantitative Aptitude being the only components that apply to all positions. The one-hour Tier 1 examination consists of 25 questions from the General Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning categories. Papers 1 and 2 are required of all applicants who passed the Tier 1 examination. There are four papers administered in Tier 2. Papers 3 and 4 are only available to applicants who applied for the relevant positions.
